The Asian Athletics Athletes 2023 takes place from 10 to 12 February in Astana, Kazakhstan brings together 500 athletes from 31 countries and territories. Vietnamese Athletics Recruitment attended the tournament with 4 athletes, Nguyen Thi Oanh, Nguyen Thi Huyen, Luong Duc Phuoc and Nguyen Trung Cuong.
The hope of gold Nguyen Thi Oanh did not betray the fans when they excelled in winning the gold medal in the content of 1,500m which took place on the evening of 11/2. Earlier, in the content of 3,000, she only reached the 6th of 8 athletes. Also on the evening of 11/2, Nguyen Thi Huyen brought the Vietnamese delegation a silver medal in the 400m female content.
The athletics team caused many surprises in this tournament most certainly must be Korea. In the previous 8 Athletics Athletics, Kim Chi land was only won only one silver medal of Choi Yoon Hee in the female dance dance in Hangzhou, China in 2012.
However, everything was very different from the Korean delegation in Astana, Kazakhstan. Thanks to the strong investment with athletes who were trained abroad such as Woo Sang Hyeok, Kim Guk Yeong and Choi Dong Hwi, South Korea won 4 medals of all kinds.
