Elim Kipchoge breaks his own world record at Berlin Marathon 2022

The athlete has twice the Olympic championship that broke its own world record at the Berlin Marathon on September 25. He completed the distance of 42,195 km with a time of 2 hours 1 minute 09 seconds. Faster than the record he has set at Berlin Marathon 2018 by 30 seconds.

Kipchoge started impressively when completing the first half of the 59 minutes 51 seconds. Kenya's legend reaches 30km when the clock is 1 hour 25 minutes 40 seconds, then 40km when the clock turns 1 hour 54 minutes 53 seconds before returning to the new world record.

More significantly when the Kenya athletes left Mark Korir for 4 minutes. This is Kipchoge's 4th championship in Berlin, balancing the achievements of Haile Gebrsyelassie.
