Accordingly, Bui Thi Ngan (Hanoi Open University student) was the one who opened the goods with the gold medal in the Department of Athletics for the TTVN delegation at the Southeast Asian Student Games 2022.
The Southeast Asian Student Sports Festival 2022 is a tournament held every 2 years to promote the sports training movement of the student forces of countries in the region. This year's Congress was attended by students from 11 countries, competing in 23 subjects.
It is known that Bui Thi Ngan is a familiar name at the Vietnam Athletics Team. At this tournament, the Vietnam Athletics team contributed a powerful squad with the participation of Tran Nhat Hoang, Le Van Thao, Lo Thi Hang, Pham Thi Hong Le, Doan Thu Hang, Vu Thi Ngoc Ha, Ngan Ngoc Nghia, Le Trung Kien and Bui Thi Ngan. In particular, Lo Thi Hoang, Pham Thi Hong Le or Vu Thi Ngoc Ha won gold medal at SEA Games 31.
At the Southeast Asian Student Sports Festival 2022, TTVN delegation had 80 members attending. In addition to athletics, Vietnamese athletes will compete in 5 different sports including: Esports, Futsal, Taekwondo, Muay and Pencak Silat.
4 years ago, at the 2018 Southeast Asian Student Sports Festival in Naypyidaw – Myanmar, the TTVN delegation won 16 gold medals, 9 gold medals and 6 bronze medals, ranked 5 of the whole delegation.
