The 2022 speed trophy will take place in Ho Chi Minh City from 7-9/April 2022 with the participation of 38 delegations and 16 teams in the districts of the city. Initially, it was reported that Tu Chinh would attend a unified speed trophy, but as coach Nguyen Thi Thanh Huong shared, the athlete running the No. 1 sprint in Vietnam will not attend.

Besides ignoring the unified speed trophy, Tu Chinh is likely not to participate in the 31st SEA Games Athletics Athletes in Hanoi.
