One of the reasons for Pearly Tan and Thinaah Muralitharan to be highly treated from BAM is that they are expected to be able to paint medals in the US for the next 3 years. Indeed, the duo played very impressively. After Indonesia expanded, they continued to impress when they reached the expansion of Japan.

The opponent of Pearly Tan and Thinaah Muralitharan in the final of the two tournaments were all Chinese duo, Liu Sheng Shu and Tan Ning. Liu/Tan has gradually regained its form in the past, when they won 3 tournaments. Coming to Japan to expand, they continue to play well and to the final.

In Indonesia expanded last month, Liu Sheng Shu and Tan Ning had many difficulties before Pearly Tan and Thinaah Muralitharan. They only won in 3 sets, in which set 1 closed with a close score of 25-23. But by this confrontation, everything was easier for Chinese couples.

Pearly Tan and Thinaah Muralitharan's downward physical fitness made them short of breath in front of China in decisive situations. Liu Sheng Shu and Tan Ning won quickly with a score of 21-15, 21-14, thereby winning the championship right before the expansion of China.
