Nguyen Thi Oanh is a record in Vietnam when the golden girl of Vietnamese athletics has proud records at the National Athletics Championship. Nguyen Thi Oanh's most remarkable achievement in the tournament is that she broke the national record running 5000m with a period of 15: 53.48. This achievement has surpassed the old record with parameter 16: 12.73 set by athletes of Truc Van Nu Truc Van (Khanh Hoa) in the tournament 18 years ago.
Nguyen Thi Oanh is the athlete holding the SEA Games record at the content of 3000m of obstacles with a record of 10: 00.02 made in the Philippines in 2019. Currently, Nguyen Thi Oanh is a player of Bac Giang Sports and Sports Training Center and she has been practicing and living at the National Athletics team for many years. Nguyen Thi Oanh is a key athlete invested at the SEA Games at home with the goal of protecting the gold medal at the forte of 1500m, 5000m and 3000m of obstacles that she succeeded in in previous SEA Games.
Yesterday (February 22), athlete Nguyen Thi Oanh was provided by the Party Committee of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Bac Giang, the Party cell of Bac Giang Sports and Sports Competition. The athlete born in 1995 was recorded by great contributions to Bac Giang sports and Vietnamese track and field.
With this honor, Nguyen Thi Oanh himself will try harder at the upcoming 31st SEA Games with the goal of winning gold for the Vietnamese sports delegation at home.
