A few days before the Championship of the Asian School Road 2025 officially took place, the Vietnamese bicycle team received bad news. Trucks carrying all equipment, including many racing bikes worth billions of the team, had an accident, caught fire in Thailand, causing Vietnam team to seriously damage.
Facing that situation, Thailand has mobilized many existing resources to support the Vietnamese bicycle team to continue playing. According to information from the Vietnam Bicycle and Sports Federation, the Thai host has mobilized 27 cars. These vehicles have been transferred to Vietnamese athletes by the organizers.
“Thanks to the excellent efforts of the Thai bicycle Federation and the organizers quickly joined Vietnam to overcome difficulties. Currently, the whole team has stabilized the spirit, maintains the highest determination, ready to enter the competition content,” said the Vietnam Bicycle – Motorcycle Union.
In addition to lending 27 cars for the Vietnamese team, the Thai bicycle federation also bought all new accessories for the Vietnamese athletes. These devices include 18 sets of helmets, competition shoes and pedal pairs for athletes. All of the above devices are transported to Bangkok city and 27 bicycles for optional athletes to use.
According to the schedule, the Vietnamese team will start competing for personal hours from February 7 to February 11. After that, the athletes will continue to play the contents of the road. In this context, the homeowner's support of equipment, including bicycles for Vietnamese athletes, is timely and necessary.
In addition to the support from Thailand, the Vietnam Bicycle and Sports Federation has launched a plan to overcome the athletes in the near future. The bicycle serving the contents of the field racing is supplemented by the Union from Vietnam to Thailand will be available in 10/2, before the content takes place 2 days.
