Quach Thi Lan attended the world championship

At the age of 27, Quach Thi Lan is one of the best running legs of Vietnamese athletics at 400m and 400 fences. Impressive achievements recently helped Quach Thi Lan were chosen as the representative of Vietnam to attend the 18th World Championship in the US.

Earlier in the Tokyo Olympic Games, Quach Thi Lan was also the only representative of Vietnam to compete in athletics. She participated in the 400m content that crossed the female fence in the Olympics in Japan, and reached the semi -finals of the tournament. Her achievements at the Tokyo Olympic Games were 55.71 seconds and 56.78 seconds respectively.

At the 31st SEA Games, Quach Thi Lan continued to show good performance at the Congress that took place at home. At 400m content surpassing the female forte, she returned most with a achievement of 56.33 seconds, approximately the result she had won in the previous Tokyo Olympic Qualifier. Lan's teammate is Nguyen Thi Huyen in the second.

Closing the 31 SEA Games, Quach Thi Lan won 2 gold medals (400m surpassing the female fence, 4x400m relaying for women's teammates), 1 HCB (4x400m to relay the mixture of men and women's teams) and 1 bronze medal (400m female). This is the most successful SEA Games in Quach Thi Lan's career, when she has gold medals in both personal and teammates.

At the 31st SEA Games, Quach Thi Lan's brother Quach Cong Lich also played quite well in two men's 400m and 4x400m fence relay. He won the gold medal in both of these.
