120 Vietnamese Athletics Arbitration training in Hanoi prepared for SEA Games 31

“We have 3 lecturers who are international referees of the Asian Athletics Federation to teach at the training course, these are referees from India, Malaysia and Singapore. The preparation of athletics is very important, so the arbitration work must be the most careful,” the Department of Athletics (General Department of Sports and Physical Training) is also General Secretary of Vietnam Athletics Federation-Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung said on April 19.

The referee training course and the professional work for the 31st SEA Games referees will take place on April 20 in Hanoi and Vietnam with 120 referees. These are the national arbitration of athletics from many units throughout the country, participating in training to supplement the knowledge of the competition law, the management method of the 31 SEA Games. In addition to 120 referees, there will be 31 arbitrators on duty on electronics work together to attend the training course and 29 international referees attend.

SEA GAMES 31th Athletics Calendar in Vietnam

It is known that, along with the arbitration class, the number of staff for SEA Games 31 (about 50 people) will be trained in preparation and work when the 31 SEA Games takes place. The training course is expected to last 5 days.

After the training course, the referees will be able to directly attend the SEA Games organized on My Dinh National Stadium (Hanoi) from April 23 to 27. The purpose of the tournament is to operate the new electronic equipment that has been prepared for the SEA Games 31. At the tournament, some local athletics teams were also invited to attend.

After 2 SEA Games (2017-2019), all of the whole delegation, Vietnamese athletics confidently headed to the home field with the highest goal.

In the upcoming 31st SEA Games, Vietnamese athletics aims to win from 17-19 gold medals and keep the first throne. At the 30th SEA Games in the Philippines, Vietnam won the first place with 38 medals, including 16 gold medals, 12 gold medals, 10 bronze medals, surpassing Thailand (12, 11, 12) and the host of the Philippines (11, 8, 8).
