At the 31st SEA Games, the 2 -subject team of Vietnam is expected to have a higher achievement than the bronze medal of Nguyen Thi Phuong Trinh in the Philippines 3 years ago. To best prepare for the Congress, the Dataclon team was established with 2 coaches and 5 official athletes focused from February 8, 2022 to 20/4/2022 at the National Sports Training Center in Ho Chi Minh City.
The National Duallon team will be led by coach Mai Duy Than (Ho Chi Minh City Fatherland Front Center) and coach Le Van Dong (Can Tho). 5 athletes include 3 male athletes: Nguyen Anh Tri (Hau Giang), Pham Tien San (Bac Giang), Ha Van Nhat (Hanoi) 2 female athletes, Nguyen Thi Phuong Trinh (Hau Giang), Nguyen Thi Kim Cuong (Can Tho). Among these, only Phuong Trinh is the athlete who has won a bronze medal at the 30th SEA Games 2019.
The completely new names at the team can mention Pham Tien San, the face who won 3 gold medals at the previous 3 SEA Games. Currently, Pham Tien San has turned to long running content and is determined to win the 31st SEA Games through the tournament such as Tri-Factor 2021 in Vung Tau.
