The National Championship Marath and long distance from Tien Phong newspaper in 2022, the 63rd oldest jogging tournament in Vietnam was held in Con Dao with strange flavors for athletes to attend. The last time the tournament was held on the island was in Ly Son, Quang Ngai in the 2020 season, bringing many excitement for athletes to attend.
In 2021, although faced with many difficulties due to the influence of Covid-19, the tournament was successful on the mountain town of Pleiku. This year, Tien Phong Marathon 2022 has brought a vibrant atmosphere quite early even though the tournament has not been held.
In addition to the professional athletes of many delegations, provinces and cities across the country, Tien Phong Marathon 2022 is also an open tournament for all movement athletes. TPM 2022 with 4 distances: 5km, 10km, 21.1km and 42,195km for professional athletes and 3 distance 10km, 21.1 km and 42,195km for the movement athletes. The athletes compete in two separate systems with a separate award system for professional athletes and movements.
Due to limited travel and accommodation conditions in Con Dao, this year the prize only welcomes more than 3,600 athletes. The weather at the venue is quite harsh, so the athletes are encouraged to come early to get used to the weather, terrain and prepare accommodation for convenience.
Yesterday (March 20) many athletes began to come to Con Dao to get used to the weather and the run. Many athletes pass the recruitment system also came to the tournament with the hope of protecting the achievements that they have won in previous seasons.
One of the notable names perhaps it must be mentioned is the athlete Hoang Thi Ngoc Hoa from Doan Binh Phuoc. At Tien Phong Marathon 2021 – Gia Lai, the female athletes born in 2000 excelled in winning the runner -up at the full marathon (42,195km) with a record of 2:56:15, only behind the senior Pham Thi Hong Le (achieved a record of 2:52:13).
Also yesterday, Chan runs Nguyen Thi Oanh and coach Dao Xuan Hung (Bac Giang) arrived at Con Dao wharf to attend TPM 2022 with the determination to win the 6 -km female content championship for the 6th consecutive consecutive tournament. Accompanying the Vietnamese golden girl is a number of athletes who are practicing at the Hanoi National Sports Training Center.
