Since January 2022, the Vietnam Athletics team has practiced at the National Sports Training Center 1 (Nhon). There are a total of 75 athletes belonging to many groups, groups and subjects summoned but not all are the 31 SEA Games.
According to Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung, in charge of the Department of Athletics, General Department of Sports, General Secretary of Vietnam Athletics Federation, in addition to the long jump and run, the remaining groups and groups will practice through Tet. All efforts to get the highest achievement in the upcoming rehearsal.

SEA GAMES 31th Athletics Calendar in Vietnam
Specifically, the internal competition selected athletes to attend the 31st SEA Games will take place within 3 days, from the 4th of March 6, 2022 at My Dinh Stadium.
At the 31st SEA Games, Vietnamese athletics still attend all the personal and collective contents. Personal content will have 2 athletes (male and female) to attend. These two athletes are selected and will not be changed after the official list has been registered. Meanwhile, the collective content (relay) has 6 athletes including 4 official and 2 reserve.
SEA Games 31 will take place from 12-23 May. Athletics will be held at My Dinh Stadium (Hanoi) from May 14-19. The athletes will compete in 47 competition content. The goal of Vietnamese athletics is to continue the first group with about 15 gold medals. The brothers Quach Cong Lich and Quach Thi Lan are still golden hope of Vietnamese athletics.
