The athlete Thanh Vu won the third prize in the planet's harshest combination

On August 28, the female athlete Thanh Vu participated in the content of 3 subjects of the women's super long distance (Deca Ultra Triathlon) at the Swissultra 2022 in Switzerland. Here, she excelled in winning the championship with a total achievement of 328 hours 27 minutes 55 seconds

Thanh Vu became the first Vietnamese to take the throne at this 3 super harsh coordination race. The official social networking platforms of Swissultra 2022 posted greetings after the “steel girl” made a miracle: “This is the portrait of the world champion: Congratulations to Thanh Vu!”.

Behind Thanh Vu is the French athlete Nadine Zacharias with a total achievement of 329 hours 27 minutes 16 seconds. The remaining two female athletes participating in the competition could not complete the competition. In the male content, there are 19 athletes. The champion is Triathlet Belgian born in 1982 Kenneth vanthuyne, with a total achievement of 182 hours 43 minutes 43 seconds.

Thanh Vu, the full name is Vu Phuong Thanh, born in 1990 in Hanoi. The girl with a background is a financial specialist coming to a triathlon from a passion for jogging. Thanh Vu is a female Runner running through four deserts in a year including Namib (in coastal Namibia), Gobi (China), Atacama (Chile), and the country of Antarctica.

Those times of the harsh trees have gradually bloated the fire to conquer the Ultra distance of Thanh Vu. She decided to attend Swissultra 2022 and was the only representative from Vietnam.

Swissultra is considered to be the 3 most harsh combination of the planet. The athletes attending the prize must complete 38km swimming, 1,800km cycling and 422km. The total distance of this playground is 10 times longer than a regular Triathlon competition.
