Mr. Quoc Vinh affirmed that to support the recruitment of experts, the Vietnam Sports and Sports Department is willing to spend up to 10,000 USD/month (more than 250 million VND). “The sports industry is still hoping that the Vietnam Athletics Federation and the Department of Athletics (Vietnam Department of Sports and Physical Training) to find an appropriate expert to Vietnam as a professional,” the leader said in the Conference of suggestions to build a “Vietnam Athletics Development Project to 2030, orientation to 2045”.
“We have resources to pay salaries to highly experts in training Vietnamese athletes to focus on the best performance. The salary that the sports industry is enough to pay from 8,000 USD to 10,000 USD/month (more than 250 million VND)”.

It can be said that this is a move that will create a turning point for the Vietnamese athletics team. In recent years, although the achievement of competition is good with a series of victories from Nguyen Thi Oanh, Nguyen Thi Huyen, Pham Thi Hong Le … but the team is still absent from foreign experts, who are expected to be able to improve the athletes.
The nearest working is Simeonov, the coach from Bulgaria. The expert used to be more than 7 years in the national team but left in 2022. By 2024, he returned but now only working in the youth team.
Also at the seminar on the development of the “Scheme of Development of Vietnamese Athletics to 2030, with the orientation to 2045”, many coaches have made their opinions to help develop the Queen's sport. “The athletics team needs to have a plan to focus each professional group at each training point according to the focus model, instead of spreading,” coach Nguyen Manh Hieu of the Vietnamese Athletics team said.
Coach Ho Thi Tu Tam believes that domestic coaches and experts still lack professional training classes at home and abroad to improve their qualifications.
