This year, the tournament takes place from July 18 to 27 in Solo, Indonesia. The tournament consists of 2 items of competition, mixed teammates and 5 personal contents.
According to the drawing results, the Vietnamese team is classified as Table C with China, South Korea and the Philippines. This is a very difficult group for young Vietnamese players. Besides China, Korea also has many talented young athletes and is classified as a medal candidate.
The core of the Vietnamese Young Badminton team attended the 2025 Asian Badminton Championship, mostly members of the national team and team. They all have relatively good achievements in domestic tournaments over the past time. Besides, some athletes also have conditions to attend international tournaments in recent months.
