The World Badminton Federation was deleted in Youtube channel of 3.4 million followers

On the night of August 2, Vietnam time, badminton fans were unable to find the YouTube channel with more than 3 million followers of the World Badminton Federation (BWF) on YouTube. According to the Youtube's notice, BWF's channel is deleted on the grounds that “violate community standards”.

In fact, BWF TV is the only youtube channel of BWF and has maintained for many years. With more than 21,000 posted videos, including a lot of live match videos, BWF TV is really a huge data store for fans, as well as those who work in badminton.

On the BWF side, on August 2, they had an official announcement to fans about the deleted BWF TV channel. BWF said: “Our official channel is facing some difficulties and technical faces, and must temporarily hide from the search channel for safety reasons.”

BWF added that they are working with Google partners to restore all the data posted for many years. The aforementioned work is expected to complete as soon as possible. As of the evening of August 2, Vietnam time, the BWF TV channel has not yet returned.

The deletion of BWF's YouTube channel not only seriously affects the reputation of this organization. They may have to re -post the previous data, and witness a significant revenue from Youtube advertising disappearing in a relatively long period of time.
