According to information from Malaysian media, their No. 1 women's couple Pearly Tan and Thinaah Muralitharan have reached an agreement to extend the contract with the Malaysian Badminton Association (BAM). The new contract between the two sides extends to the end of the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games, and the remuneration increases very high.

Initially, Pearly Tan and Thinaah Muralitharan wanted to receive remuneration at each person who received 2 million RM (12.3 billion) per year. The two have negotiated with BAM, thereby reaching an agreement at a more appropriate level for the BAM side. They receive a salary of 1 million RM (6.15 billion) per year, in return, both can be rewarded depending on the performance in international tournaments.
The Pearly Tan and Thinaah Muralitharan's extension of contracts with BAM also ended rumors that the duo separated. Before that, there was information that they were pursued by Victor recently. Victor has invited both with a large value sponsorship contract for Malaysia's No. 1 women's couple.
Currently, Pearly Tan and Thinaah Muralitharan are ranked 3 in the world. They stood under the pair of Liu Sheng Shu – Tan Ning (China) and Shida – Matsuyama (Japan).
