In the last week of August, the 2025 World Badminton Championship will officially take place. Currently, the World Badminton Federation (BWF) has published a list of players attending the tournament. According to this list, Vietnamese badminton has 6 qualified players to participate in the competition.

– Nguyen Thuy Linh: competing in women's application content
– Vu Thi Trang: Competition in women's application content
– Le Duc Phat: competing in men's singles
– Nguyen Hai Dang: Competition in men's singles content
– Nguyen Dinh Hoang, Tran Dinh Manh: competing in men's double content
The 2025 World Badminton Championship will start on August 25, and end on August 31. This is the largest tournament, gathering the world's leading players to compete in the years without Olympic. This is a group 1 tournament, so there is no bonus for players to compete.
This year, the World Badminton Championship was held at the Adidas Arena in Paris, France. A year ago, France was also a place to witness the Olympic Games. Therefore, with many players, this occasion is the time to help them relive the memories at the 2024 Olympics.
Also according to information from BWF, the 2025 World Badminton Championship records some top players cannot participate. The most notable person who missed the appointment with Paris was Viktor Axelsen, the reigning champion of the Paris Olympic Games. Axelsen had to withdraw because she had not completely recovered from injury.
