Oneida WPA Women's World 8-Ball Championship 2025 marked the historic milestone of Billiards Pool world when the first World Championship was held. The tournament gathered 64 leading female players in the world and the star of Billiards box – Duong Yen Vi was honored to be a Vietnamese representative attending the most prestigious playground on the planet.
In the opening match, Duong Yen Vi confronted her experienced seniors and was in the top of Wang Wan Ling world rankings. Although very efforts to pull the match to Hill – Hill decided but unfortunately, Duong Yen Vi missed the opportunity, accepted defeat 6-7. Falling down the losing branch, the representative of Vietnam encountered an opponent from Türkiye – Eylul Kibaroglu.
In this match, eYlul Kibaroglu Integrating extremely strong and overwhelming in the first phase to lead Duong Yen Vi with a score of 4-1. Continuing as the “script” in the first round, Duong Yen Vi played extremely efforts to bring the match back to the 5-5 equilibrium game. Unfortunately, Eylul Kibaroglu took advantage of the opportunity, and did not make any more mistakes so that Duong Yen Vi could come back to the stream, thereby ending the match with the final results 7-5.
Thus, Duong Yen Vi soon ended her journey at the World Championship 8 Women 2025. However, the 23 -year -old player had more experience. Besides, Duong Yen Vi also did not have the best preparation before the tournament for objective reasons, so it did not achieve the best state.
